Closing your eyes may seem like a simple and insignificant act, but it holds immense power. When you close your eyes, you withdraw from the external world and turn inward. This shift means you are no longer in fight-or-flight mode; instead of responding to external stimuli, you retreat into your inner world. As a result, your nervous system begins to relax, switching from releasing stress hormones that keep you active and alert to a more restorative state.
As soon as you close your eyes, relaxation begins. Your muscles loosen, your brain slows down, and even your breath becomes deeper and more rhythmic. You might start to feel your body in a way you hadn’t noticed before. Certain areas—your shoulders, stomach, hips, the back of your neck, or your head—may call for your attention, holding onto tension from daily activities. It could be your jaw, forehead, arms, or hands, depending on what part of your body has been most engaged in your daily routine. Wherever you feel this tension, allow yourself to bring awareness to that area. Simply staying with it, without resistance, will naturally encourage relaxation.
Give yourself permission to remain in this state for as long as you need. You deserve it. It is neither too much nor too long. When you close your eyes, your nervous system relaxes, creating space within you—space to receive, space to just be. You shift from activity, perception, and reaction into a state of pure presence.
For some people, closing their eyes can feel uncomfortable or even confronting. They may not enjoy being alone with themselves, finding it challenging to sit with their own thoughts and emotions. Fears, worries, doubts, feelings of loneliness, unfairness, or disempowerment may arise—and I understand that. But when you close your eyes, you have a choice: you can either focus on these feelings, or you can shift your attention to something more spacious. You can focus on your breath, effortlessly moving in and out, a constant rhythm that requires no effort. Your breath is part of your beingness—it is the bridge connecting you to Spirit through the silver cord.
Closing your eyes is already a powerful practice on its own. It allows you to stay with your own energy, to learn to relax in it, to accept it. By doing so, you create space, stepping back from the distractions of daily life and gaining a new perspective. This space begins with closing your eyes, because you momentarily withdraw from one of your primary sensory tools—sight. Instead of looking outward at the external world, you turn inward, into the vast expanse of your inner world.
Your inner world is vast—it is the source from which your external reality unfolds. If you view life through the lens of energy, you’ll recognize that your vibrational state shapes your experiences, attracting people, circumstances, thoughts, and emotions that match your frequency.
By closing your eyes and detaching from external distractions—thinking, doing, or reacting—you shift your focus inward. In this space of stillness, your inner state can be easily adjusted, harmonized, and elevated. Simply by being, you reconnect with your true essence—naturally relaxed, powerful, harmonious, loving, and free from fear or worry. Allowing this essence to express itself naturally raises your vibration.
Spending at least 20 minutes in this inner spaciousness can create a noticeable shift. When you open your eyes again, everything may feel lighter, less urgent, and more manageable. The deep relaxation you experience in your body is truly invaluable.
Now, I will take a few moments to sit in this spaciousness and reflect on what else I can share with you. You can do the same and read further from the new vibrational state afterwards.
What I feel called to remind you is this: You don’t have to keep pushing forward if you feel like you can’t anymore. You are always allowed to pause, to stop, to reset. Closing your eyes is a simple yet powerful tool available to everyone.
You can do it while sitting or lying down, and you don’t need to worry if you fall asleep. If you do, it simply means your body needs rest—sleep is essential for your well-being. Of course, in certain situations, such as at work, you may have to keep going despite exhaustion. I understand that. But as soon as you have the opportunity, come back to yourself. Rebalance. Adjust. Reconnect with the spaciousness within you. Please note that lying down or sitting will connect you with a different type of energy, just like your position is: when you are in a vertical position your channel will connect vertically with Mother Earth downwards and Spiritual, Life Force energy upwards. When you lie down, you connect horizontally with this dimension, with your ancestral lineage, the trauma and the wisdom of your own lineage, stored in your DNA.
Close your eyes. Don’t worry if others think you look strange—it is a practice too precious to neglect. This small yet powerful act allows you to reset, to recharge, and to return to yourself. If you feel like rocking gently from side to side, or in a circle or infinite shape, while your eyes are closed, do that too. It is deeply soothing for the nervous system and, in energetic terms, helps expand and strengthen your silver cord—the space that connects you to your true home, to Spirit.
If you feel the need to do something while your eyes are closed, simply bring your awareness to your body. Observe it. By doing so, your focus naturally shifts toward self-care, and awareness itself becomes a powerful tool for healing. Energy flows where attention goes—so when you tune into your body with kindness, you direct energy toward restoration. This allows tension to release, balance to return, and deep healing to take place at a cellular level.
Just close your eyes. Take a deep breath. It’s not hard. And it’s worth it.
